Bone broth is all the rage. Make your own at home with our favorite recipe.

Beef Bone Broth
Servings 4
Ingredients
- 4 lbs marrow / knuckle bones
- 2 lbs meaty bones
- 1/2 c apple cider vinegar raw, with the mother
- 1 gallon good water
- 3 ribs celery roughly chopped
- 3 carrots roughly chopped
- 3 onion quartered
- handful parsley fresh
- 2 tsp sea salt Celtic Sea Salt or Redmond Real Salt
Instructions
- Put bones in a 6 quart stock pot.
- Add the vinegar and water and let sit for 1 hour so the minerals can leach from the bones.
- Make sure the bones are completely submerged in the water. If not, add more.
- Add the vegetables and bring to a boil.
- Scrape off any scum that forms on top.
- Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook 24-72 hours.
- At the end, toss in the parsley.
- Let it cool and strain.
- Enjoy in soups or for sipping on its own.
