This refreshing salad featuring nori, avocado, cucumbers, broccoli sprouts, and ginger offers loads of health benefits.

Seaweeds, like nori, rank among the most nutrient-dense plant foods on Earth, harnessing a comprehensive array of oceanic nutrients. They are notably rich in calcium and iodine, aiding in toxin removal from the body. Avocado contributes healthy fats, fiber for digestion, a range of vitamins and potassium. Cucumbers provide hydration and antioxidants.

Dr Krail-Javier highly recommends that her patients add broccoli sprouts into their diet because they are packed with trace minerals you won’t find anywhere else. They also have high antiviral and antiretroviral activity. They are a nutrient powerhouse with vitamins and sulforaphane, which supports detoxification and may protect against certain cancers.

Finally, ginger adds anti-inflammatory properties, aids digestion, and can help relieve muscle pain. Enjoy!
